While it offers protection against daily wear, spills, and sweat, it is designed for cooling and moisture evaporation rather than being a fully waterproof barrier. Significant liquid spills may still penetrate.

It is generally not recommended to use this cooling mattress protector with an electric blanket, as the electric blanket's heating function could counteract the cooling properties, and using them together might affect the performance or safety of either product.

For optimal performance and hygiene, it is recommended to wash the mattress protector every 1-2 months, or more frequently if you experience heavy sweating or spills.

The protector is designed to fit a standard UK double bed mattress. Standard double bed dimensions are approximately 135cm x 190cm (54" x 75"). The deep elasticated corners accommodate varying mattress depths.

The honeycomb texture is integrated into the fabric design for airflow and cooling. It is typically designed to be unobtrusive and comfortable, especially with the added wave stitch quilting on top.

The materials used are designed to be quiet. You should not experience significant rustling or noise when moving during sleep.

Ensure the elasticated corner straps are fully stretched and anchored securely beneath all four corners of the mattress. Check that the protector is the correct size for your double bed mattress.

Verify that no harsh detergents or fabric softeners were used, as these can impair the fabric's performance. Ensure the protector is completely dry before use; dampness can affect heat dissipation.

This can sometimes occur if the protector is too large for the mattress or if the straps are not fitted correctly. Try re-fitting the straps, ensuring they are taut. Gentle ironing on a low setting might help with minor creases after washing, but check the care label first.

This is normal for new textile products. Air out the protector in a well-ventilated area for 24-48 hours, or wash it according to the care instructions before first use.
