Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Prepare the area: Clear the area of any grass, weeds, or debris where the edging will be installed.
- Position the edging: Lay out the edging, shaping it to the desired curves or lines. If you need to cut the edging, use a utility knife.
- Secure the edging: Use landscape staples or pegs to secure the edging in place. Drive the staples or pegs through the edging and into the ground. Space the staples/pegs appropriately for stability (e.g., every 1-2 feet).
- Backfill: Fill the space between the edging and the area being edged with soil, mulch, or gravel. This helps to anchor the edging and provide a neat finish.
Compatibility:
The Nicoman Flexible Lawn Edging is compatible with various soil types and can be used in most garden environments. It is suitable for use with mulch, gravel, and other landscaping materials.
Care:
The edging requires minimal care. Occasionally, check for any dislodged sections and re-secure them. Clean the edging with water and mild soap as needed to remove dirt or debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the rubber material.
