RJ45 Network cables are essential for connecting devices in both home and office environments, facilitating everything from simple point-to-point connections to complex network wiring within buildings. Typically, a network's central hub includes servers, hubs/switches, and patch panels. Shorter cables are used for direct connections between these central components, while bulk cable runs throughout a building to network points, connecting PCs to the network. RJ45 Cat 5e cables are available in various colors and lengths from 0.5M to 50M, capable of transferring data at speeds up to 100 Megabits per second (Mbps) at a 100mhz frequency. Key features include: - UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair): Consists of two unshielded wires twisted together. Our CAT 5e cables are 8-core, featuring 4 pairs of twisted wire. - 24AWG (Average Wire Gauge): Refers to the thickness of the wires. Thicker wires allow for more data transmission, indicated by a lower AWG figure. - Stranded: Features multiple strands of wire within each core (7 strands per core), making the cable more flexible and easier to bend. - Flush Moulded Boot: The plastic connector boot is injected to be the same size as the connector, allowing easier access when connecting multiple network cables into a patch panel. This design makes it virtually impossible to detach the RJ45 connector from the cable. - Snagless: Snagless boots protect the connector clip from snagging on other cables. Our design uses wings instead of a hood, providing easy access to the clip. - Strain Relief: A flexible moulded panel at the boot's end protects internal wires from stress and strain. Labeled cables with customizable text are also available.
