Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure your oscillating multi-tool is turned off and unplugged.
- Identify the tool-free blade change mechanism or release lever on your multi-tool.
- Remove the old blade if present.
- Align the mounting holes of the Faithfull SK7 Sharp Scraper Blade with the tool's spindle.
- Secure the blade firmly according to your tool's instructions. Ensure it is locked in place before use.
Compatibility:
This blade is designed to be compatible with most standard oscillating multi-tools that accept universal shank blades. Always check your specific tool's manual for blade compatibility.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove any debris from the blade. A soft brush or damp cloth is usually sufficient. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Store the blade in a dry place, preferably in its original packaging or a protective case, to prevent rust and damage to the cutting edge.
- Sharpening: While designed for longevity, the SK7 steel can be sharpened if needed. Use a fine-grit sharpening stone or file, maintaining the original bevel angle.
