FAQs

What are the dimensions of the NGT Bivvy Table?

The table is designed as a compact unit with 19mm legs; exact surface area dimensions should be checked against current inventory specifications for the latest model iteration.

Can the legs be removed?

The legs are attached via folding hinges and are intended to stay connected to the table for easy transport, but they are not designed for full removal.

Is the table waterproof?

Yes, the polypropylene construction and aluminium legs are fully rust-proof and weather-resistant, making them ideal for outdoor use.

Does it come with a carry bag?

The table is designed to be slim enough to slip into standard tackle carryalls, and a dedicated carry bag is not included.

Can I use this on a fishing platform?

Yes, the rubber feet are specifically designed to provide grip on flat surfaces, including wooden fishing platforms.

Troubleshooting

Table legs feel loose or unstable

Check that the leg locking mechanism is fully engaged and that the 19mm tubes are not obstructed by dirt or debris.

The table surface wobbles on uneven ground

Individually adjust the height of each of the four legs until the table is balanced and level on the terrain.

Difficulty folding the table flat

Ensure all legs are retracted to their minimum length and check the hinges for any trapped grit or mud that might be blocking the mechanism.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely lightweight and easy to carry
Adjustable legs adapt to uneven terrain
Flat-folding design maximizes storage space
Durable polypropylene surface is easy to wipe clean
Rubber feet provide excellent stability on slippery surfaces

Cons

Compact surface area may be limited for complex tackle setups
Aluminium legs require careful handling to avoid bending under extreme loads
Not suitable for use as a seat or heavy-duty step stool

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the table, simply unfold the frame and extend each of the four 19mm legs to your desired height, securing them firmly in position. Ensure the table is level before placing heavy items on the surface. For compatibility, the table is designed to fit standard carp fishing luggage, including most carryalls and rod holdall side pockets. To care for your table, wipe down the polypropylene surface with a damp cloth after use to remove bait residue or mud. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents, as these may scratch the surface. Ensure the aluminium legs are dry before folding the table away to prevent any potential corrosion over extended periods of storage.
