Full details

Winsor & Newton Liquin Original is a versatile, medium-fast drying medium designed to improve the flow of oil paints while reducing drying time. Ideal for glazing and blending, it creates smooth, even layers with a subtle, glossy finish. It improves flow, enhances the fluidity of oil paints for effortless blending and glazing techniques. It speeds up drying, reducing drying time by up to 50%, allowing for faster layering and overpainting. It provides a slightly glossy, smooth surface that enhances color depth and vibrancy. The non-yellowing formula maintains the integrity and brilliance of colors over time. Ideal for all skill levels, it is suitable for both beginners and professional artists seeking improved paint handling and faster results. Perfect for artists looking to enhance the flow and drying time of their oil paints, Winsor & Newton Liquin Original is a must-have medium for achieving smooth, professional finishes with ease. This reliable favorite halves the drying time of oil colour and reduces brush stroke retention (touch dry in 1-6 days depending on colour & film thickness). It creates a smooth, gel-like paint film that is easier to work with. It allows the paint to dry faster and aids working with multiple layers. Liquin's 'natural brown' colour doesn't affect the paint colour. Not suitable as a varnish or final coat. Liquin Original suits a textured oil technique, as is seen with Monet or Renoir.
