FAQs
What are the external dimensions of the frame?
The external dimensions are determined by the size of the print/photo you intend to frame, plus the 39mm moulding width on all sides. Please refer to the specific product listing for exact frame sizes available.
Can I replace the glass if it breaks?
Yes, the frame is designed to allow for replacement glass. You would need to order a piece of glass cut to the internal size of the frame opening.
What is the size of the mount opening?
The mount is cut 3mm smaller on each side than the frame's internal dimensions to ensure the edge of your image is not exposed. Please check the specific product details for the exact mount opening size for each frame variant.
Is the frame suitable for children's artwork?
Yes, the frame's versatile hanging options and included mount make it suitable for displaying children's artwork.
What material is the mount made from?
The included mount is cut from 1.3mm white core mountboard.
Can the frame be laid flat on a table?
Yes, the frame can stand or hang. When laid flat, ensure the surface is clean to avoid scratching the glass or frame.
Troubleshooting
Glass arrives smudged or dirty
Use a standard glass cleaner and a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the glass clean.
Frame is difficult to open for picture insertion
Gently release the securing tabs on the back of the frame. If they are stiff, a flat-head screwdriver can be used carefully.
Mount does not fit the image correctly
Ensure you are using an image size compatible with the mount opening (mount is cut 3mm smaller on each side). Adjust image placement within the mount if necessary.
Hanging hardware feels loose
Check that the hanging hardware is securely attached to the frame backing. If not, re-secure it firmly.
