The thread on which Gutermann was founded, synonymous with quality and luxury. Suitable for hand and machine sewing, it is ideal for fine closing seams with a fine gloss, fine ornamental stitches, decorative seams, overlock and safety seams, buttonholes, and sewing on buttons. This thread is soft, supple, tear and abrasion resistant, elastic, extendible, light resistant, and colour fast. Recommended needle and size: Universal, size 80. Made from 100% silk. Care instructions: 40 degree wash, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, moderately hot iron.
