Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To begin, ensure the battery is charged using the provided USB-C cable. Mount the flash onto your camera's hot shoe using the locking mechanism, or attach it to a light stand using an appropriate mount. For wireless operation, turn on the flash and your compatible Godox X-series trigger, then set them to the same channel and group. Adjust power settings and zoom levels as needed using the intuitive controls on the flash.
Compatibility: The AD100PROII is compatible with most major camera brands through its built-in 2.4G X System, supporting TTL and HSS. For full functionality and access to modifiers, Godox X-series wireless triggers (e.g., X1, X2, XPro) are recommended. It uses the Godox bayonet mount for light modifiers, allowing integration with a vast range of Godox-specific and S-type compatible accessories.
Care: Keep the flash unit clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. When not in use, store it in a protective case. Regularly check the battery charge level and recharge as needed. Ensure the lens and modeling lamp are free from dust and smudges for optimal performance.
