These pots are particularly well-suited for phalaenopsis orchids and other epiphytic orchids that benefit from light penetration to their roots and excellent drainage. For orchids that prefer to stay consistently moist or have different root structures, other pot types might be more appropriate.

You can clean the pots using a soft cloth or sponge with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly. For stubborn algae, a gentle scrub brush can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers.

The translucent material allows light to penetrate to the orchid's roots. This aids in photosynthesis, promoting healthier, greener root development and overall plant vitality, which is particularly beneficial for epiphytic orchids.

The large drainage holes are designed to prevent waterlogging and root rot. While they ensure excellent aeration and drainage, you may need to monitor your watering schedule closely to ensure the potting medium doesn't dry out too rapidly, depending on your environment.

The pot dimensions are a height of 12.5cm and a diameter of 15cm.

While they offer excellent drainage, they are primarily designed for mature orchids. For very small seedlings, ensure your potting mix is fine enough not to fall through the drainage holes, or use a liner.

Increase watering frequency slightly or ensure the mix retains some moisture. Consider adding a small amount of moisture-retentive material to your orchid mix if appropriate for your specific orchid type.

Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. If algae is inside, it may be due to overwatering or excessive direct sunlight. Reduce direct light exposure and ensure proper drainage.

Check for waterlogging. Ensure drainage holes are clear. If drainage is adequate, the issue might be related to the potting mix or watering schedule. Adjust as needed.
