Can I use this log splitter outdoors?

It can be used outdoors, but it must be kept on a flat, stable surface and should not be exposed to rain or damp conditions for extended periods.

Why does it have a dual-hand safety system?

Check the hydraulic oil level and ensure the system is properly bled of air.
