Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Clean the surface of the copper pipe or fitting thoroughly. Remove any loose rust or debris. A rough surface will help the putty adhere.
- Application: Take the required amount of putty. Apply it directly to the leak, pressing firmly to ensure it fills the gap. Ensure the area is fully covered and sealed.
- Drying: Allow the putty to set completely. The setting time can vary, but it usually takes only a few minutes.
- Painting: Once the putty is fully dry, you can sand the surface if needed and paint over it to match the existing surface.
Compatibility: This product is specifically designed for copper pipes, radiators, tanks, and cylinders. It's not suitable for plastic pipes and fittings.
