The Sonos Era 300 is designed for audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts seeking an immersive, spatial audio experience that fills a room from every direction. It offers phenomenal sound clarity and versatile connectivity options, making it a powerful standalone speaker or a premium component for a surround sound setup. However, its complex architectural design requires careful placement to achieve the intended spatial audio performance, and it is most effective when integrated into a larger Sonos home ecosystem.

Yes, it can be grouped with other Sonos speakers for multi-room audio, though it is designed to be paired with another Era 300 for a stereo pair.
No, the Era 300 is not weather-resistant or waterproof and should only be used in indoor environments.
There is a physical hardware switch on the back of the speaker that disconnects power to the microphone for privacy.
Ensure the speaker is plugged in, the status light is solid white, and your smartphone is connected to the same WiFi network.
Move the source device closer to the speaker and ensure no large metal objects or high-frequency electronics are interfering with the signal.
Minimize background noise during the tuning process and ensure you are moving your phone slowly throughout the room as instructed.
Setting up the Era 300 involves downloading the Sonos app and following the on-screen prompts to connect the device to your 2.4GHz or 5GHz WiFi network. For optimal sound, place the speaker on a flat surface with at least 8 inches of clearance above it to allow the upward-firing drivers to perform correctly.
Regarding care, dust the exterior with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or solvents. Ensure the power cable is routed to prevent tripping and avoid placing the speaker in areas with excessive humidity or direct, high-intensity heat. Periodically check the Sonos app for firmware updates to ensure your device maintains compatibility with the latest streaming service requirements.
