This Lindy Cat.6 HDBaseT HDMI 4K60 & Type C Wall Plate Transmitter is part of a high-performance, reliable solution for extending AV and data signals over long distances via Cat.6 network cable. When combined with a compatible HDBaseT receiver (e.g., Lindy No. 38389), this solution ensures reliable transmission up to 150M. It supports HDMI 18Gbps resolutions up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 with additional support for HDR. The transmitter supports USB 2.0, Audio, RS-232, Bi-directional IR, and PoC (Power Over Cable). It features a UK standard 1-gang wall plate (86x86mm) and comes with a 2-year warranty. It sends HDMI or Type C signals up to 150M over Cat.6 network cable via HDBaseT technology with Long Reach Mode. Possible distance and resolution combinations using high-quality Cat.6 or above U/UTP or F/UTP cable include: Standard Mode (Std) - 90M: 3840x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8Bit / 4:2:2 12Bit, and Long Reach Mode (LRM) - 150M: 3840x2160@30Hz 4:4:4 8Bit / 4:2:2 12Bit. The push-button source selection allows switching between Type C or HDMI (with USB) inputs for controlling a source like a PC from a compatible HDBaseT KVM receiver, with auto-switch also supported. PoC functionality with an on/off switch provides flexibility, allowing power to be supplied alongside data through the Cat.6 network cable in a point-to-point connection, requiring only one power supply. Bi-directional IR ports at both ends enable easy control of source equipment from the display side and vice-versa. An RS-232 port is also available via a terminal block on the rear of the wall plate. HDBaseT is a globally recognized standard for high-quality distribution of AV content and other technologies, including power and control, over longer distances via low-cost Cat.6 or above cable.
