SELFcheck Bowel Health Test is an accurate, easy to use, and simple personal screening test to detect the first symptoms of colon polyps, adenomas, carcinomas, and other silent lesions. The traces of blood faeces/stools can be due to hemorrhoids, polyps and in rare cases, bowel cancer - SELFcheck Bowel Health Test can help you to be proactive in managing your health. Each kit includes: 1x test cassette, sample container with collection stick and buffer solution, full instructions leaflet and range leaflet. A discreet way to check your health status in the privacy of your home Produces a visual result in less than 10 minutes Requires only one small sample of the user faeces/stool to perform the test. Requires no change in the user diet, or fasting etc. The test requires a fresh stool poo sample. Visual results will be available within 5 minutes. If there are 2 purple lines in the test window then you have a positive detection of blood in the stool poo. If there is 1 purple line in the test window then you have a negative result and blood is not present in the stool poo. If there are no lines in the test window after 10 minutes then the test is invalid and you should refer to the instruction manual for details. See your doctor if: You experience persistent diarrhoea or constipation that is new for you and lasts for 6 weeks or more. You need to empty your bowels more often than usual You notice there is blood in your stools. You have persistent and severe stomach pains, unexplained tiredness or unexpected weight loss.
