Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Clarks Oakpark Lace shoes remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Breaking In: New leather shoes may feel snug at first; wear them for short intervals indoors to allow the leather to mold to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a dry soft cloth to remove dust. For the leather uppers, use a leather-specific cream or conditioner to keep the material supple.
- Sole Maintenance: The crepe-textured sole can be wiped down with a damp cloth if dirt accumulates in the grooves. Avoid exposure to extreme heat or oil-based substances which can affect the sole material.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Use cedar shoe trees to help the shoes maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
