Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or old wallpaper.
- Prepare a flat surface for pasting.
- Apply a suitable wallpaper adhesive evenly to the back of the wallpaper strip ('paste the paper').
- Allow the paste to soak for the recommended time (booking).
- Hang the first strip vertically, ensuring it is level, using a spirit level.
- Butt the edges of the next strip against the previous one, aligning the pattern with the 64cm repeat.
- Smooth out any bubbles or creases with a wallpaper brush or smoother.
- Trim excess wallpaper at the ceiling and skirting board with a sharp knife.
Compatibility:
This wallpaper is suitable for most interior walls, including plaster, plasterboard, and previously painted surfaces, provided they are properly prepared and primed. It is not recommended for areas with excessive moisture or direct water contact, such as inside a shower.
Care:
To clean, gently wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture, as this can damage the textured finish. Minor scuffs and marks can typically be removed with a light wipe.
