The URSA Thigh Strap is a professional-grade rigging solution designed for sound engineers, theatre technicians, and film production crew members who need a reliable, discreet way to mount wireless transmitters. Its primary benefit is the 1mm thin, breathable material that ensures comfort for long-duration wear under costumes or performance gear without creating visible bulges. However, users should note that the specific sizing requires measuring the thigh area accurately to ensure the plastic grip functions effectively without sliding.

It is designed to be worn directly on the skin for the best grip and lowest profile, but it can be worn over thin tights or undergarments.
The strap features high-quality elastic properties that allow for a snug, secure fit on most thigh sizes.
Machine wash on a gentle cycle, preferably inside a mesh laundry bag, and always air dry.
The pouch is designed for standard industry wireless packs; very large or unusually shaped transmitters may not fit securely.
The URSA Thigh Strap is made from a specialized breathable, bonded fabric designed for stretch and long-term durability.
While designed for professional production use, the secure grip makes it suitable for active movement in performance settings.
Ensure the plastic grip is in direct contact with the skin and the strap is tightened sufficiently.
Verify that the transmitter is fully seated and the top-stitching is not obstructed by debris; ensure the model used fits within standard industry sizing.
Ensure the strap is not too tight; clean the fabric regularly to remove salt and sweat buildup which can cause skin irritation.
To set up your URSA Thigh Strap, slide the transmitter into the vertical pouch ensuring the antenna is positioned according to your sound department's standard operating procedure. Secure the excess microphone cable into the dedicated pocket provided.
Compatibility: This strap is compatible with most standard belt-pack style transmitters from Sony, Shure, and Sennheiser.
Care Instructions: The strap is machine-washable. It is recommended to place the strap inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the plastic grip from getting caught on other items during the wash cycle. Air dry the strap completely before storing it, as leaving it damp can compromise the adhesive or structural integrity of the fabric over time.
