VDE certification (up to 1,000 volts) indicates that these tools have been tested and meet stringent safety standards for working on or near live electrical circuits. They are tested up to 10,000 volts as an additional safety margin.

This set includes screwdrivers for Slot (SL) type screws (sizes 2.5, 3.5, 5.5, 6.5) and Phillips (PH) type screws (sizes PH1, PH2).

Touch the tip of the single-pole phase tester to the conductor you wish to test. Simultaneously touch the metal contact on the handle with your finger. If a current is present, the integrated glow lamp will illuminate.

While the screwdrivers are durable, their primary design is for electrical work with insulated shafts. For very high torque mechanical applications, dedicated non-insulated tools might be more suitable to avoid damaging the insulation.

The anti-roll design on the handles prevents the screwdrivers from rolling off work surfaces like benches or ladders, enhancing safety and preventing tool loss.

Verify that the circuit is indeed live and that you are touching the correct contact point on the tester and a grounded object. Ensure the tester's batteries (if applicable, though this model is non-battery operated) are functional. Test the tester on a known live source.

Ensure you are holding the screwdriver in the intended grip area. The ergonomic design is intended for optimal comfort, but adjust your grip as needed for your specific task.
