While the kit includes gloves, it's advisable to use them. If you run out, ensure you are in a well-ventilated area, and try to avoid skin contact with the adhesive.

Use the alcohol wipe provided to clean the area thoroughly before applying any adhesive or patch. Make sure the surface is completely dry before beginning the repair.
