You will need a No. 2 Pozi drive bit for these 5.0mm diameter screws.
The Zinc and Yellow Passivation (YZP) offers good corrosion resistance, making them suitable for general outdoor use in less aggressive environments. For constant exposure to harsh weather or salt spray, stainless steel alternatives might be more appropriate.
For many materials like softwood, chipboard, and plastic, pre-drilling is often not necessary due to the sharp 28° point. For very hard woods, dense materials, or when precise alignment is critical, pre-drilling a pilot hole is recommended.
The Rika 5.0 x 90mm screws are fully threaded up to and including 80mm of the screw length. The remaining 10mm at the head is unthreaded.
