Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, level, and smooth before installation. Remove any existing flooring, debris, or adhesives. Follow the specific installation guidelines provided by the manufacturer, which may include the use of a recommended adhesive and underlayment. Cut tiles precisely using a sharp utility knife or specialized flooring cutter.
Compatibility: This vinyl tile is generally compatible with most standard subfloors, including concrete, plywood, and existing resilient flooring, provided they are properly prepared and level. It is suitable for use with underfloor heating systems (consult manufacturer's guidelines for temperature limits).
Care: Maintenance is straightforward. Regularly sweep or vacuum the floor to remove dust and grit. For deeper cleaning, use a damp mop with a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Avoid using excessive water, steam cleaners, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the vinyl surface. Promptly wipe up any spills to prevent staining.
