Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply plug one RJ45 connector into your network device (e.g., computer, router, switch) and the other into your network port. Ensure a firm click to confirm the connection is secure. The snagless boot design protects the clip, but care should still be taken when disconnecting to avoid excessive force.
Compatibility: This Cat6A cable is compatible with all standard RJ45 ports. It works seamlessly with devices supporting 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet), and 10GBASE-T standards. It is also backward compatible with Cat6, Cat5e, and Cat5 networks, though speeds will be limited by the slowest component in the chain.
Care:
- Avoid sharp bends or kinks, especially near the connectors, to maintain signal integrity.
- Keep away from sources of extreme heat or direct sunlight.
- Clean the connectors and cable jacket with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
- Store the cable loosely coiled when not in use.
