Setting Up
- Winding: If the watch has stopped, manually wind it by turning the crown clockwise about 20-30 times.
- Setting the Time: Pull the crown out to the second position and rotate it to set the time.
- Setting the Date: Pull the crown out to the first position and rotate it to set the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM to prevent damage to the movement.
Compatibility
The Certina DS-7 Powermatic 80 is compatible with any wrist size, thanks to the adjustable bracelet. The watch's design complements both formal and casual attire.
Care
- Cleaning: Gently clean the case and bracelet with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Servicing: Have the watch serviced every 5-7 years by a professional watchmaker to ensure its accuracy and longevity.
- Storage: Store the watch in a safe place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and magnetic fields.
- Water Resistance: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance. Avoid using the crown or pushers underwater.
