Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Revell Painta brush lasts, follow these guidelines:
- Pre-Use: Before applying paint, ensure the bristles are clean and dry. For acrylics, you may lightly dampen the brush with water to prevent paint from drying too quickly at the base of the bristles.
- Compatibility: This brush works best with standard modeling enamels and acrylics. Always verify the thinning agent for your specific paint to choose the correct cleaning fluid.
- Cleaning: After each session, rinse the brush in the correct thinner (or water for acrylics) until all pigment is removed. Gently reshape the bristles while damp and store the brush flat or with the bristles pointing downward to prevent moisture from entering the handle.
- Care: Avoid leaving the brush standing in cleaning fluids for extended periods, as this can damage the bristle glue and shape.
