Yes, it can be used indoors, provided your wall or ceiling brackets are rated to handle the potential weight of wet laundry.
The inner steel wire is protected by a 3.5mm UV-stabilized PVC coating, which prevents rust provided the coating remains intact.
You should use high-quality wire cutters or a hacksaw designed for metal to cleanly cut through the steel core.
The 60kg breaking strain applies to the entire length of the line; ensure your support posts are capable of handling this tension.
No, the steel wire core ensures minimal stretch, which helps the line stay tight over its service life.
The total diameter of the line is 3.5mm, including the protective PVC coating.
Adjust the tensioner or re-secure the wire rope clips to ensure the line is pulled taut.
This is typically caused by extreme bending or tight-radius kinks; avoid sharp bends when installing.
Use a specialized metal file to smooth the cut end, then apply a small amount of clear sealant to prevent moisture entry.
To install, thread the line through your existing clothesline tensioner or secure it using heavy-duty galvanized wire rope clips. Because this line contains a steel core, it is recommended to use wire cutters or heavy-duty snips to adjust the length. To maximize the lifespan of your clothesline, avoid over-tightening beyond the manufacturer's suggested tension to preserve the integrity of the PVC coating. Clean the line periodically with a soft cloth and mild soapy water to remove accumulated dust, pollen, or debris that might transfer to your clean laundry.
