The Beaphar Canishield collar contains the active ingredient deltamethrin, which is slowly released from the polymer matrix of the collar. This collar kills fleas for up to 16 weeks, ticks for up to 6 months and sandflies for up to 5.5 months. It is suitable for dogs from 7 weeks of age. For best results, use early in the season before fleas are seen, and at least one week before your dog is likely to be exposed to ticks. It is great for dogs travelling abroad at risk of leishmaniasis, which is transmitted by sandflies. 95% of the flea’s life cycle is in the home. When tackling a flea problem, in addition to treating your pet, always use a household insecticide, such as Beaphar FLEAtec Household Flea Spray or Beaphar Household Flea Fogger for your home. Provide long-lasting protection to your dog with the Beaphar Canishield Dog Collar. It ensures your pet stays protected without the need for monthly treatments. Suitable for all dogs from seven weeks of age, the collar starts killing fleas within 24 hours, and ticks and sandflies within 48 hours. Clinically proven and available without a prescription, this flexible collar is easy to fit and adjust. Simply buckle it around your dog’s neck, slide it into the correct position, and let your dog roam around pest-free. Deltramethrin collar for small and medium dogs.
