Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Plan Your Layout: Measure your wall or ceiling space and plan the panel arrangement. Consider if you want a horizontal or vertical pattern, and if you need to cut panels to size.
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Mark your starting points for alignment.
- Choose Your Method:
- Screw-in Installation: For a secure and permanent fix, screw the panels directly into the wall studs or use appropriate wall anchors. Pre-drill pilot holes to prevent wood splitting.
- Adhesive/Wall Glue: Apply a high-strength construction adhesive or wall glue to the back of the felt panel or directly to the wall. Press the panel firmly into place, ensuring full contact.
- Cutting Panels: If necessary, use a fine-tooth saw (e.g., a hand saw or circular saw with a fine blade) to cut panels to your desired dimensions. Measure twice, cut once.
- Layering: Panels can be layered to repeat patterns or create custom designs, offering design flexibility.
Compatibility
These panels are highly versatile and compatible with various interior spaces and applications:
- Walls: Ideal for creating feature walls, enhancing a room's primary focal point.
- Ceilings: Can be installed on ceilings to improve overhead acoustics and add a design element.
- Rooms: Perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, home offices, commercial offices, gyms, recording studios, and band practice rooms.
