The Preston Innovations Hollo Elastic 13H is designed for dedicated carp anglers who require consistent, trouble-free performance during intense fishing sessions. This hollow elastic delivers smooth travel and reliable tension, making it an excellent choice for those targeting various carp sizes; however, users must ensure their pole tip is correctly cut back to prevent friction or sticking during operation.

The 13H rating indicates the power strength of the elastic. In this system, 13H corresponds to a power level typically found between 12 and 14 in traditional solid elastic ratings.
No. The Hollo Elastic is produced using a special process that provides internal lubrication, so applying extra lubricant is not required.
Each package contains 3 meters of Hollo Elastic.
It is designed for carp fishing, and with 6 different strengths available (9H to 19H), there is a version suited for most carp fishing scenarios.
Cutting back the pole tip ensures the elastic travels freely through the exit. If the hole is too small, the elastic can catch, preventing it from functioning smoothly.
Check that the pole tip has been cut back to an appropriate diameter and ensure there are no burrs or sharp edges at the exit.
Ensure the tension setting is correct for your rig and check that the elastic is not tangled inside the pole section.
For optimal performance, especially with larger diameter elastics like the 13H, ensure your pole tip is cut back sufficiently. If the aperture of your pole tip is too narrow, the elastic may create friction against the internal walls, leading to uneven performance or sticking. Store the product in its original sealed bag away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures to preserve the material's properties until you are ready to rig your top kits. After use, inspect the elastic periodically for any signs of wear or thinning, particularly near the connectors.
