Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation
The NEFF N30 Canopy Cooker Hood can be installed under a cabinet or within a canopy. It supports both ducted extraction (where air is vented outside) and recirculating extraction (where air is filtered and returned to the kitchen). Ensure you have the necessary ducting or a recirculation kit (sold separately) depending on your setup. Professional installation is recommended for ducted systems.
- Measure the space under your cabinet to ensure the hood fits.
- Follow the instructions provided in the manual to mount the hood securely.
- Connect the power supply.
- For ducted systems, connect the ducting to the hood and ensure a secure seal.
- For recirculating systems, install the recirculation kit following the kit's instructions.
Compatibility
The hood is compatible with standard kitchen setups. The 53cm width is designed to fit above most standard hobs. Ensure there's adequate space above the hob for the hood. The hood operates on 220-240V, 50Hz electrical systems.
Care
- Cleaning: Clean the metal grease filter regularly (every 1-2 months, depending on usage) to maintain efficiency. The filter is dishwasher safe. Wipe the hood's exterior with a damp cloth.
- Bulb Replacement: Replace the LED bulbs with the correct specifications when needed. Refer to the manual for instructions.
- General Maintenance: Regularly inspect the hood for any signs of damage or wear. Ensure the ducting (if applicable) is clear and free of obstructions.
