Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
As a built-in microwave, precise installation is crucial. Before purchasing, double-check the dimensions of your designated cabinet space against the microwave's specifications to ensure a perfect fit. Installation typically involves securing the microwave into a prepared opening within your cabinetry and connecting it to a standard electrical outlet.
Compatibility
This microwave is designed to fit standard kitchen cabinet openings. It requires a standard household electrical outlet with the appropriate voltage and amperage. Always consult the product's specific installation guide for detailed electrical requirements.
Care
To keep your Hisense microwave performing optimally and looking new, follow these simple care steps:
- Cleaning the Interior: Wipe the interior after each use with a damp, soft cloth to prevent food splatter from drying and hardening. For stubborn stains, place a bowl of water with a few lemon slices inside and heat it for 2-3 minutes until steamy. The steam will loosen food particles, making them easier to wipe away.
- Cleaning the Exterior: Use a soft, damp cloth with a mild detergent (if necessary) to clean the exterior surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch the finish.
- Turntable Care: The glass turntable and roller ring can be removed and washed in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher.
- Odor Removal: If odors persist, place a bowl of baking soda mixed with water inside the microwave overnight. Alternatively, heat a bowl of water with lemon slices for a few minutes.
