The Autocare AC874 Twin Socket with USB Interface is an essential upgrade for drivers and passengers who rely on multiple electronic devices during travel, offering the ability to power two 12V accessories and two USB devices simultaneously. It is perfectly suited for long-distance commuters, families, and road-trippers needing reliable charging for GPS units, dash cams, and mobile devices; however, users should be mindful of their vehicle's total power output limitations to avoid blowing a fuse in their car's auxiliary circuit.

It is designed for any vehicle equipped with a standard 12V cigarette lighter or auxiliary power socket.
Yes, the device is designed to handle multiple connections simultaneously, provided the vehicle's fuse can support the total power draw.
In most vehicles, the 12V socket power is cut off when the ignition is turned off. If your vehicle has 'always-on' sockets, the light will remain on.
The USB ports are designed for standard mobile device charging; performance may vary depending on the specific power requirements of your tablet.
No, it is a tool-free, plug-and-play installation.
Yes, you can leave it plugged in, but it is recommended to unplug it if you notice any flickering or connection issues, or if your vehicle has 'always-on' power sockets to preserve your car battery.
Check if the vehicle's ignition is on or set to the accessory position. If it remains off, check the vehicle's internal fuse box to see if the auxiliary socket fuse has blown.
Ensure that the plug is fully seated in the 12V socket. If multiple high-draw devices are plugged in, consider disconnecting one to distribute power more effectively.
Some sockets vary in diameter; ensure the unit is pushed in as far as possible. If the fit remains too loose, verify that no debris is obstructing the bottom of the vehicle's socket.
Installation is straightforward: simply insert the Autocare AC874 plug directly into your vehicle's existing 12V cigarette lighter port. Ensure the plug is pushed in firmly to maintain a consistent connection. The device is compatible with any standard 12V auxiliary power port found in most modern automotive vehicles. To care for your unit, keep the sockets free of debris and dust, which can interfere with electrical contact. If the device is not in use for extended periods, it is recommended to unplug it to avoid any potential minor power draw or accidental contact with metallic objects.
