Engineered to meet original equipment standards, it excels at trapping combustion residues and microscopic impurities to maintain optimal lubrication quality over long distances. Check your vehicle's service manual or use the MANN-FILTER online catalog to match your engine code with the MPN W11020/1.
Ensure the old gasket was completely removed from the engine block and that the new gasket is properly seated and lubricated.
Do not overtighten the filter during installation; tighten only by hand or with the specified torque tool per manufacturer guidelines.
This filter is a spin-on type component. Ensure the engine is cool before beginning the removal of the old filter to prevent oil burns. When installing the W11020/1, always coat the new gasket with a thin layer of clean engine oil to ensure a proper seal. The thread size is M32x1.5; verify that the threads are aligned correctly during the initial spins to prevent cross-threading, which can lead to critical oil leaks. Once tightened to the manufacturer's specified torque, run the engine briefly and inspect the base for any signs of seepage. This product is compatible with select Renault Trucks and Volvo models; always cross-reference your vehicle's specific engine code with the filter's specifications before purchase.
