Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation depends on your specific surface. For wooden truck beds, use high-strength bolts paired with backing plates underneath the floor to prevent the bolt heads from pulling through the wood under tension. If mounting to steel, welding provides the most permanent solution.
Maintenance Tips:
- Periodically inspect the base and the attachment point for signs of fatigue or hairline cracks.
- If mounted outdoors and exposed to road salt, wipe down the rings with a light oil or silicone spray to maintain the integrity of the zinc coating.
- Ensure that all attachment hardware is torqued to specifications before every trip.
