The Milward Milliners or Straw needles are designed for sewers, milliners, and crafters who require high-precision tools for intricate textile projects. These long, fine needles offer the perfect balance for detailed work such as beadwork and pleating, ensuring smooth passage through delicate fabrics. While they are exceptional for precision, their length and thin profile make them less suitable for heavy-duty upholstery or working with extremely thick, rigid materials.

Each pack contains 16 needles.

Ensure the thread thickness matches the needle eye; use a thread conditioner or wax to reduce friction.
Check the tip for burrs; if the needle has hit a hard surface, replace it immediately to prevent damaging your project.
These needles do not require complex setup; simply ensure you are using a thread gauge that matches the fineness of the needle to maintain the snag-free benefit. They are compatible with all standard natural and synthetic sewing threads.
