This Stillson Pattern Pipe Wrench from Eclipse Professional Tools is engineered for strength and durability in demanding work environments. It features a hardened and tempered hook jaw designed to prevent breakage, ensuring reliable performance over time. The wrench has an open length of 350mm (14 inches) and can accommodate pipes up to 38mm (1.5 inches) in diameter. The frame and handle are cast from a single piece of ductile iron for superior strength. The flash-hardened teeth on the pipe jaw offer increased wear resistance and are suitable for use with copper and aluminium pipes, as well as ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The nut abutment design ensures that all load is transferred directly from the handle to the nut and jaw, preventing the frame from bearing the load and reducing the risk of failure. The precision-machined screw thread and spring jaw remain open under pressure for ease of use. In normal use, this product conforms to British Standard BS3594.
