The neoprene feet offer some insulation, but for very cold conditions, layering with appropriate thermal base layers and socks is recommended. The waders themselves are designed for water protection and breathability.

After rinsing and drying, put the waders on and fill them with a small amount of water (about ankle-deep). Turn them inside out and look for any wet spots or drips. Alternatively, fill with air and listen for escaping air.

It is generally not recommended to machine wash these waders. Hand washing with a mild soap and thorough rinsing is the preferred method to preserve the fabric's integrity and coating.

PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coatings provide water resistance without using perfluorinated chemicals, which are considered harmful to the environment and human health. This makes the waders a more sustainable choice.

The TPU pouch should be wiped clean and dried thoroughly before storage. Ensure it is not creased or folded excessively to maintain its waterproof seal.

The stockingfoot design means you'll need wading boots that accommodate the integrated neoprene foot. Try on waders with your chosen boots to ensure a comfortable fit, typically allowing space for one pair of thick wading socks.

Ensure DWR coating is intact. Rinse and dry thoroughly. If persistent, consider re-applying a PFC-free DWR treatment or inspect for tears/damage.

Ensure they are pulled taut and securely over the top of your wading boots. Check for any damage to the elastic or securing mechanism.

Clean the zipper teeth with fresh water and a soft brush. Apply a silicone-based lubricant or zipper wax if needed. Avoid forcing the zipper.

Ensure you are wearing appropriate socks and that the waders are the correct size for your body. Check that your wading boots offer sufficient room.
