Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Upon first use, simply remove the soothers from their packaging and sterilise them. No assembly is required. Ensure the self-sterilising travel case is clean before use.
Compatibility
These soothers are compatible with most standard soother straps, which can be securely attached to the handy button on the front. They are designed for babies with 'growing smiles', suggesting suitability across various developmental stages, though always check product packaging for specific age recommendations if available.
Care Instructions
- Before First Use: Sterilise each soother thoroughly.
- Daily Cleaning: Clean the soother before each use. Wash in warm water with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
- Sterilisation with Travel Case:
- Fill the travel case with 25 ml of water (to the indicated line).
- Place the soothers in the case with the teat facing down.
- Close the case and heat in the microwave for 3 minutes at 750-1000 watts.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before opening. The self-sterilised soothers remain disinfected in the closed box for up to 48 hours.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the soother for any signs of wear, damage, or stickiness. Pull the teat in all directions before each use. Discard immediately if any damage or weakness is detected.
- Replacement: For hygiene and safety, it is recommended to replace soothers every 1-2 months, or sooner if signs of wear are visible. Do not tie the soother around your baby's neck as it presents a strangulation hazard.
- Storage: Store soothers in a dry, covered container when not in use.
