The Thor 11-716 Thorex Nylon Hammer features a patented metal head with screw-in white nylon faces. The chrome-plated zinc head is designed to be replaced when worn. This hammer has a plastic handle and is used as a multi-purpose striking tool in various assembly applications including engineering, furniture making, shopfitting, partitioning, double glazing, and injection moulding. Alternative colour-coded faces to distinguish hardness are also available. Faces are designed to wear and are replaceable by hand, with no metal pegs or inserts to damage the workpiece.
