The Kramer CA-UAM/UAF-25 is an active USB extension cable designed to extend the length of USB devices without signal loss. It features active electronics to boost the USB signal for reliable performance over extended distances. This bus-powered cable operates as a self-powered extender and is compatible with USB cameras, printers, webcams, keyboards, and mice. It supports True Plug-and-Play with no additional drivers needed and is compliant with the USB 2.0 High Speed (480Mbps) standard. The cable construction consists of 1 pair 24AWG, 2 pairs 22AWG, and a 24AWG tinned copper braid drain wire. It pulls power from the source and is intended for data transfer only, not charging. The device buffers incoming and outgoing signals and is CM-c(ETL) rated. It is available in various lengths from 15 to 65ft (4.6 to 19.5m).
