Product Information

Full details

This Rapport Home Platform duvet cover set is perfect for fans of London's iconic Underground system, offering a unique way to bring urban style to your bedroom. Its key benefit is the reversible design, allowing for two distinct looks with one set. A minor caveat is that it's a single product, and you may need to purchase additional sets for larger beds. The set includes one duvet cover and two pillowcases, featuring a London Underground platform print on one side and a classic Underground sign on the other, made from easy-care polycotton.

FAQs

What size is the duvet cover?

The duvet cover measures 230cm x 220cm, suitable for a standard UK double or king-sized duvet.

What is the material of the duvet cover set?

The set is made from an easy-care polycotton fabric, a blend of polyester and cotton.

How many pillowcases are included?

The set includes two coordinating pillowcases, each measuring 50cm x 75cm.

Can I use this duvet cover on a different size bed?

This duvet cover is designed for a 230cm x 220cm duvet. Using it on a significantly smaller or larger duvet may result in a poor fit.

What does 'easy care' mean for this fabric?

Easy care means the fabric is designed to be machine washable, quick-drying, and requires minimal ironing compared to 100% cotton.

Is this an official Transport for London product?

Yes, this is an official Transport for London Licensed Product.

How should I wash the duvet cover set?

It is machine washable at 40°C and can be tumble dried on a low heat setting. Iron on a medium heat if needed. Wash with similar colours and do not bleach.

Troubleshooting

Color fading after washing

Wash inside out at the recommended temperature and avoid harsh detergents. Ensure the garment is not exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods while drying.

Fabric feels stiff

Ensure the item is washed before first use. Using a fabric conditioner on subsequent washes can help soften the polycotton blend.

Duvet cover slipping inside the duvet

Consider using duvet cover clips or ties (if your duvet has them) to secure the corners of the duvet to the cover.

Pillowcase losing shape

Ensure pillows are the correct size for the cases and avoid overstuffing. Follow the recommended washing and drying instructions.

  • Unique and thematic design for London transport enthusiasts.

Cons

  • Only includes one duvet cover and two pillowcases, potentially requiring multiple purchases for larger beds.

  • Requires ironing if a crisp finish is desired, despite being 'easy care'.
