Setting Time and Date
To set the time, gently pull the crown (the knob on the side) out to the farthest position. Rotate the crown to move the hands to the desired time. Push the crown back in fully to start the watch. To set the date, pull the crown out to the first click (a halfway position). Turn the crown until the correct date appears. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the date change mechanism.
Compatibility
This watch is designed as a standalone accessory and does not require any electronic compatibility. Its standard 37mm case size and bracelet are generally suitable for most adult wrists. Bracelet sizing may require professional adjustment for optimal fit.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: To keep your watch looking its best, wipe it regularly with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For more stubborn marks on the metal, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or chemicals, which can damage the finish and stone settings.
- Water Resistance: The 5 ATM water resistance rating means the watch is resistant to splashes, rain, and incidental contact with water. Do not expose it to hot water, steam, or submerge it for extended periods. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.
- Battery: As it is a Quartz watch, the battery will eventually need replacement. When the watch stops or the seconds hand jumps irregularly, it's typically an indicator of a low battery. We recommend having the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to maintain water resistance and avoid damage to the movement.
- Avoid Impacts: Protect your watch from hard knocks or drops, which can damage the internal movement or external components.
