The Knipex 77 01 115 is a 4 1/2 inch electronic diagonal cutter designed for fine cutting work in electronics and fine mechanics. It features a mirror polish with a fine film of oil for rust protection, preventing circuit faults from peeling chrome. The cutting capacity is up to 1/16" for soft wire, 3/64" for medium wire, and 1/64" for hard wire. Narrow sleeves pulled up to the head allow for secure and comfortable guidance of the tool, even between the thumb and index finger. This tool has a sturdy, zero-backlash box joint, ball bearing chrome steel construction with a red color. It also features a low-friction double spring for gentle and even opening. The induction hardened cutting edges (approx. 62 HRC) are polished for a superior finish. They are semi-flush with a small bevel and made of ball bearing steel with laser-hardened cutting edges. Note: Do not use on live circuits. Always switch off power and wear approved eye protection.
