This Sealey Disc Brake Pad Thickness Gauge (Model: VS058) is an ingenious and time-saving tool essential for any garage. It accurately measures brake pad lining on the vehicle without the need to remove the road wheel. Its slim design allows the tool to access the rear of the pad backing plate, enabling the probe to measure the distance between the underside of the backing plate and the brake disc. This gauge is suitable for both internal and external brake pads and features calibration check markings, including a 1.5mm mark. It is designed for brake pads with a standard 6mm thick backing plate (Class IV, V) and has a measuring range of 1.5mm to 13mm.
