While it is designed for spod and marker work, it can be used for main line applications, but be aware that it has no stretch, which may increase the risk of hook pulls on soft-mouthed fish.
The SK60 PE fibre is naturally buoyant; you may want to use a heavy marker lead or a sinker to keep the line pinned to the bottom during marker work.
The Palomar knot or a Uni-knot are highly recommended as they maintain the highest percentage of the line's breaking strain.
Like most braided lines, prolonged exposure to UV light will cause the colour to dull over time, but this will not affect the structural strength of the fibre.
The SK60 material is highly resistant to saltwater corrosion, making it suitable for long-term use in coastal environments.
Ensure the line is being wound off the spool with the label facing upward and consider using a line-spinning tool to keep tension consistent.
