Troubleshooting
Toilet not flushing properly
Check the water level in the cistern and ensure the flush mechanism is correctly aligned. Verify that the cistern is filling adequately. If the issue persists, inspect the flush valve for any obstructions.
Tap dripping or leaking
The ceramic disc cartridges may require cleaning or replacement if they are worn. Ensure the tap handle is fully closed. For persistent leaks, professional servicing may be needed.
Shower temperature fluctuates unexpectedly
Ensure the thermostatic valve has been correctly installed and is not obstructed. Check for any blockages in the water supply lines to the shower. If the issue persists, the thermostatic cartridge may need servicing or replacement.
Low water pressure from taps or shower
Verify water pressure from your mains supply. Check aerators on taps and showerheads for blockages caused by sediment or limescale. Ensure all isolation valves are fully open.
Basin or bath waste is slow to drain
Check the waste trap and pipework for blockages. Remove and clean any hair or debris that may have accumulated. Ensure the overflow is not obstructed.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Installation of the Affine Royan Bathroom Suite requires professional plumbing expertise. All components, including the toilet, basin, bath, and shower, need to be correctly connected to your existing water supply and waste systems. The suite comes with necessary fittings for the cistern and basin/bath wastes. It is recommended to have all parts unpacked and checked for any visible damage before installation begins.
Compatibility: The basin and bath taps feature ceramic disc cartridges and are explicitly stated to be suitable for use on any plumbing system. The shower mixer is also designed for broad compatibility. However, ensuring your water pressure is adequate for the shower's performance is advisable.
Care: To maintain the pristine finish of the bathroom suite, regular cleaning with a soft, damp cloth is recommended. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch the surfaces. For the ceramic parts, a mild soap solution is usually sufficient. For the showerhead, periodically check for any mineral build-up and clean according to standard shower head maintenance practices (e.g., using a vinegar solution or a dedicated limescale remover if necessary, though specific instructions for this model are not provided).
