Locate the RCD plug and press the reset button. The power should be restored if there are no faults.
Unplug all devices and allow the cable reel to cool down for a period. Then, check for any obstructions or excessive load, and try to reset by plugging back in.
The cable reel is rated for a maximum load of 13A.
The cable is 20 meters long.
The cable reel can be used outdoors, but ensure that it is protected from direct rain and excessive moisture. Always store indoors.
Wind the cable neatly back onto the reel and store it in a dry, protected location, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Yes, the fuse is replaceable. Open the plug and replace the fuse with a suitable 13A fuse.
Check that the cable is connected to a working power outlet. Verify that the RCD plug hasn't tripped; if it has, press the reset button. Inspect the fuse in the plug and replace if necessary. Also, check for a tripped thermal cut-out.
Unplug all devices and try the RCD reset. If it trips again, there might be a fault in the cable reel or one of the connected devices. Test the devices individually. If the RCD trips with a particular device, the device may be faulty.
Unplug the devices and allow the cable reel to cool down. Ensure the cable is fully unwound during use, as this helps prevent overheating. Do not exceed the maximum load (13A).
To set up the cable reel, ensure the cable is fully unwound before use to prevent overheating. Check that the devices you plan to connect are compatible with a 13A supply. Inspect the cable and sockets for any damage before each use. Store the cable reel in a dry place when not in use.
To care for the cable reel, regularly check the cable for cuts or wear. Clean the casing with a damp cloth if needed, and avoid using harsh chemicals. Ensure the RCD plug is functioning correctly by testing it periodically, typically by pressing the test button. The cable reel should be stored in a dry environment to prevent corrosion.
