Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin, ensure the LP-E6NH battery is fully charged using the provided charger. Insert your SD cards into the dual slots; you can configure them in the menu for redundant recording or overflow. The R7 utilizes the Canon RF mount, which is compatible with all RF and RF-S lenses natively, and EF/EF-S lenses via an optional mount adapter.

Care instructions include keeping the sensor clean by avoiding lens changes in dusty environments. Use a professional-grade blower for dust removal. The weather-sealed body is splash-resistant, but it should not be submerged in water. Always turn the camera off before removing the battery or memory cards to prevent data corruption.
