The Thor A312 Aluminium hammers have a malleable iron head fitted with two cylindrical ductile aluminium faces and a wooden handle. It is ideal for use where a heavy blow is required in a relatively small striking area. The faces prevent damage to most items being struck. Used as an alternative to copper as a general-purpose soft-faced hammer in engineering applications for assembly, repair and maintenance operations. The hammer has a weight of 950gm and a diameter of 38 mm.
