Setup, Compatibility & Care
No complex setup is required for these tools; they are ready for use immediately out of the packaging. To ensure long service life, wipe the tools down with a dry, lint-free cloth after use, especially if they have been exposed to moisture or corrosive substances. Avoid using these tools as prying implements or hammers, as this may compromise the insulated handles. Always verify that the VDE insulation is free from cracks, nicks, or deep scratches before performing any electrical work. Store the tools in a clean, dry location, preferably in a tool tray or organizer to prevent the blades from coming into contact with other hard metal objects that could dull the hardened black point tips.
